Ember Shoals Resort

Ember Shoals Resort sits on the White River in Cotter, Arkansas, the Trout Capital of the USA. The tailwater below Bull Shoals Dam runs cold and clear year round, and the river is the reason everything here is built the way it is. The property offers 42 RV sites and riverfront cabins, from lodge suites to two-bedroom units. Guided fly fishing operates on site through partner outfitters. Boat launch and wade access are minutes from the door. October and November bring the brown trout run, the biggest fish of the year. The rest of the season brings float trips, Ozark backroads, and quiet water at first light.
