Baxter County Historical Museum Meeting with Speakers from US Army Corps of Engineers

The Baxter County Historical Society will hear remarks from Colonel Walter T. Allard, Commander, Little Rock District, US Army Corps of Engineers and Jay Townsend, Chief of Public Affairs, at the Baxter County Historical Society's regular meeting at 6 pm, Tuesday, July 28th, at the Donald W. Reynolds Library. Their visit will help mark the 75th Anniversary of the completion of Bull Shoals Dam. Colonel Allard assumed command for the Little Rock district May 22nd in Little Rock. The district manages $30 billion dollars in military and civilian water resources in Arkansas and Missouri. This includes Bull Shoals and Norfork dams and reservoirs. This presentation would be highly informative, and the public is invited to attend.
