Historical Society to Host Spring Open House

The Baxter County Historical Society and Museum will present its Spring Open House Saturday, April 18th, from 10-2 at the Museum at 300 Bomber Blvd in Mtn Home. The event will feature "History of Norfork" a special exhibit by students from the EAST Program at Norfork High School. Also, local author and Norfork community leader, Linda Bradbury, will present her new book "The History of Norfork." This book has been well received and sales have been brisk. Webmaster Maryanne Edge will present the Society's new website and answer questions. The public is invited to tour the Museum exhibits and enjoy Baxter County history. Free hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided from 11 am to 1 pm.
